Japanese pop singer best known by her stage name LiSA who rose to fame through the songs she sang for the anime series Angel Beats! as a member of the fictional group Girls Dead Monster. She made her solo debut in 2011 with the mini-album Letters to U.

Before Fame

She formed the indie rock band Chucky as a high school student in 2005. The band broke up in 2008, at which point she formed a new band featuring members of the band Parking Out.

Trivia

Her first studio album with Girls Dead Monster, Keep the Beats!, was certified Gold in 2010.

Family Life

She was born in Seki, Gifu, Japan. She married Tatsuhisa Suzuki in 2020.
