His father is Michael Dressel and his mother is Christina Dressel. His father was a collegiate swimmer and veterinarian by profession. The year 2015
Caeleb won his first college-level swimming competition in 50 y freestyle at the NCAA Men’s Division 1 Swimming Championships, in the year 2015. The same year, he was glorious on 50m freestyle and 100m freestyle titles at Senior National Swimming Championships at San Antonio.
The year 2016
The main highlight of his career came at this time. He appeared in the 2016 Rio Olympics. And he was successful to win 2 gold medals in 4x100m Freestyle and 4x100m Medley. Dressel also won and broke records at the Men’s NCAA Division I Championships.

The winning streak did not just continue but also start to widen up. He remains victorious in NCAA titles on different occasions in the following years of 2017. He even won seven gold medals in World Aquatics Championships in Budapest, Hungary.

He continued defending his NCAA titles. Caeleb won all swimming races and acquired the first national relay title at the NCAA Men’s Swimming and Diving Championships 2018. The year 2019
Caeleb’s swimming career was much awarded this year too as he was able to bag other many awards. In the same year, he signed for the International Swimming League’s Cali Condors. He was able to lead the Condors to a third-place finish, winning skin races and MVP titles in most of his matches.
The year 2020
The year saw him breaking four of the world records. It came while representing Cali Condors in the international swimming league. Despite his young age, he started his coaching career too at this time. He signed an ambassadorship deal for the SPIRE Institute and Academy. Caeleb has made his appearance in Tokyo Olympics 2020 as US national swimming team captain.
