Her alter ego online and on air is as the HistoryChiQ, and her spare time is focused on independent scholarship in the Early Modern period, with a penchant for paleography. She was honored by the Irish Central in 2011. She speaks on women’s issues, history and Shakespeare in colleges and clubs around the country and even keeps her hand in acting on occasion.
